The research methodologies that I use to explore literary texts (i.e. psychoanalytic literary criticism and analytical psychology applied to literature, gendered approach, discourse analysis and rhetoric) lead to results that are unique in the contemporary field of Romanian literary exegesis, mainly characterized of a socio-historical and essayistic approach.

My works may constitute a model for future research in which both psychoanalytical grid and Jungian psychology be applied to other Romanian writers (preoccupied or not of this field in their literature). The gender literary criticism is in its early stages in Romania and my articles are inspiring in this direction too.

Nowadays I am part of the team that supervise the second edition of The Encyclopedic Dictionary of Romanian Literature [Dicționarul General al Literaturii Române] (Romanian Academy edition). I am also involved in the process of collecting data for the Chronology of Romanian Literary Life (as reflected in the journals published during the period 1964-1989).

Last, but not least, I am working for The Romania of Universal Values, a research project at the Academy of Romanian Scientists in Bucharest.

I am employed as a bibliographer at the Metropolitan Library of Bucharest, at the Department for Bibliographic and Multidisciplinary Research Services.
